No promises, but I've seen Antelope every time I've been
here.
On a plateau above Hwy 140 in the grasslands. High desert sage and
grasslands, with a bit of juniper too. A high-clearance vehicle is
recommended for the dirt road. The cache is right off the dirt
road...the terrain rating is for the road itself. The turnoff is at
42 11.988 / 120 00.625.The drive along Hwy 140 east of Lakeview is
very nice!Oh, there is a first-finder's "certificate"...it has a
picture of Lincoln on it... Note that winter, or spring melt travel
could be difficult on this road.
