isht kinta: Since the cache owner has not responded to my reviewer log about the cache, nor did they post a note to the cache page telling me and others of their intention to address the issue with it, the cache has been archived.

Some time ago, I posted a note to the cache page requesting the cache owner to post a response on what they were planning to do with the cache. I have no record of a response, and no response tells me that they are not planning on replacing or repairing this cache. If I am wrong with that assumption, please let me know promptly. I can always unarchive the cache for you if needed.

Geocache Description:

Near Chauvin, LA on the East side of the Bayou. Daylight hours. Be cautious of uneven pathway.

Kenny Hill paid bills by working as a brick layer in south east Louisiana. He started working on this folk art world in Chauvin, Louisiana around 1989. In January 2000, after an disagreement with his landlord, Kenny abruptly left the site. Kenny left over 100 concrete sculptures; his lighthouse is 45 feet tall and is the most prominent piece in the garden. The sculptures are a profound mixture of Biblical reference, Cajun colors, and the evident pain and struggle of the artist’s life. Most figures—black, white, male, female, child, or solider—are guided, supported, or lifted by seemingly weightless angels. Some of the concrete figures look like Kenny.

Wander through the park and see if you can see what Kenny was trying to tell you.

Cache is a tupperware container that is NOT in the art work. Since I live out of state, this cache will be maintained for me by local people.
