Geocache Description:

This cache is easy to find, and has a logbook for everyone to sign. But there are specific rules for what may and may not be taken from and left in this cache. Everything is related to the concept 'telephone exchange.' Read on.

The architecture surrounding the initial long/lat makes an exact reading difficult. However, you should be able to tell when you are in the right area. Across the street from exchange 1011 is a public pay phone. The phone number for this public pay phone is the clue for the location of the nearby cache.

Add all the digits of the phone number together (example: 503-555-1234 = 33) to yeild P.
P times 26 plus 8 yeilds Q.
P times 18 plus 17 yeilds R.

Cache is located at 45.33.Q / 122.40.R

Cache contains a logbook, a pencil and one or more telephone cards worth $10. Anyone may sign the logbook for this cache. If you intend to afix a sticker or rubber stamp impression in the logbook, it should be less than 1.5 inches by 3 inches in size.

Anyone may leave one or more telephone cards worth $10 in the cache. Anyone who leaves one or more telephone cards worth $10 may take one telephone card. Anyone who does not leave one or more telephone cards worth $10 may not take a telephone card. No one may leave anything except a telephone card worth $10. The cache is small: if the card needs any sort of activation code or other instructions, write it on the card itself.

If you leave one or more cards you may take a card. If you do not leave a card you may not take a card. You may leave nothing but a card.

I will be monitoring the cache regularly. If I find anything except the logbook, a pencil, and telephone cards worth $10 in the cache then I will remove the cache. If all the phone cards are removed from the cache then I will remove the cache. There are thousands of caches with no rules on what may be taken or left; if this cache is overly strict for your tastes, please do not seek it out.
