How Geocaching Works
The third in my continuing "U" series - unique, unusual and underhanded caches. This cache is placed in Fond du Lac's second-oldest parks located in the west side of the city. It honors the original owner of the 12-acre portion of a larger property - Jared Morey Taylor, Mayor of Fond du Lac from 1861 - 1865, who decreed that this property be set aside for sole purpose of establishing a park for the citizens of the city.
This cache is located in a city park whose regular hours are from 8 am to 9 pm. The container is one like I saw in Des Moines, Iowa during a geocaching event earlier in August and raises the difficulty level because it must be replaced exactly as you found it. Enjoy the park and your geocaching experience! A new container and log are in place as of 2/13/13.
