Beware the Ides of March, for it's another geocaching event!

Date: March 15, 2008
Starting time: Noon
What: Pot-luck
Location: "A" Mountain east parking area(it won't just be on any mountain)


  • Summary:
    This event cache is part of my "ABC's of Geocaching" series, which promotes different aspects of geocaching. Come out and meet fellow cachers. Finally see who all the names are on the page. Trade stories, secrets, and hints- maybe you'll finally be able to solve some of the local troubles... uhh... puzzles in the area. Most importantly, make new friends!

  • Directions
    Meet around noon on the east side of "A" Mountain. To get there, take University Avenue (I-25 exit 1). Keep driving as the road wraps around to the backside. Look for a brown BLM sign marking the turn-off on the right (south). It's hard to see, but you should be able to see the shelter where the tables will be set up for the event.

    Note: You will need to bring your own chairs.

  • Happenings
    The event will mostly be a pot-luck lunch. There will also very likely be a few caches put out for the event. If you'd like to hide a cache, please e-mail me. Games and prizes are also planned. I'll keep this page updated.

  • The Cache
    For those who attended my last event cache, The Pride of Geocaching, you might remember the little oddity of having to actually find a cache to sign the log sheet for the event.

    This time around, I'll be doing something a bit differently. I'll be placing a cache in the area shortly after the event- but everyone at the event will help create it. It'll be a collaborative effort in keeping with the "friends" theme of the event. Bring your trade items for this one.
