Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This cache was placed the week of Earth Day 2009. Last year CITO
cache #3 was placed to help clean up this area. However, it went
missing after 5 finds and then someone or group cleaned up the
area. Unfortunately the trash has returned;so I decided I might as
well give it another try.
The idea of this cache is to clean up the environment.
Here is what to do:
1. Go to the posted coordinates, find the cache, and sign the
logbook.
2. Take a plastic bag from in the cache and pick up trash from the
area surrounding the cache.
3. Take a picture of your full bag of trash.
4. Upload the picture to your cache log.
5. If you don't have a camera then just note in your log the
word/letters written on the bag.
The difficulty is for completion of the logging requirements and
not finding the cache. You will find it behind the double stump
(See the picture and look where the arrow points). The terrain
rating is for having to bushwack in the bushes a bit for the trash
and cache.
NOTES:
**Due to recent guideline changes you can no longer have an
additional logging requirement to log the cache. Therefore you
may log a find just by finding the cache and signing the
log.
**Feel free to pick up more then one bag of trash. However, please
only use one bag from the cache container.
**This is a no trades cache. Please do not put any trade items in
the cache because when the cache is refilled with bags I will need
the room.
**If you do not like the idea behind this cache then just put it
on your ignore list and move along to the next cache.
