I can't get off work to go to a Leap Day event to so I am bringing the event to me. First, we will have a flash mob on the South Capitol Steps. Meet by good ol' Thomas Jefferson. (if the weather is bad, then go to the first floor Rotunda and we will meet there. We will do our flash mob and take a picture around 10:45am. Bring a sack lunch to the Missouri Capitol. We will have lunch after the flash mob in House Hearing Room 2. It is down in the basement on the House of Representatives side of the Capitol. We will have lunch after the flash mob and will finish around 11:30am. There is a small grill located in the basement that you can buy food at. After lunch I will take everyone to the Whispering Gallery and the top of the Capitol outside in what I call the turret. Be aware you will be walking up 100s of stairs and it is cold outside up there....dress appropriately. My name is Nina Dean and I work for Rep. Kurt Bahr. My office is on the 4th floor once again room 408. I will NOT being doing tours of the Capitol but you can get one on the first floor. But don't be late for the flash mob at 10:45am. Don't forget I will be taking you up to the Whispering Gallery and top of the Capitol. This is a special tour not available to the general public. The only way you can go up there is with an escort. THIS AREA IS NOT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE.
