Warning

Please note: To use the services of geocaching.com, you must agree to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

This is a traditional AMMO can cache, with a twist. The cache is locked with a bike lock. The combo (combination) can be found by visiting the Spooner Library and viewing the unique sculpture, and answering a few questions.

The cache itself is located in the city park, along the bike/ski trail system. You are looking for a standard Ammo can with plenty of trade items and a log book. The bike lock combination is a 4 digit number that can be figured out by visiting the Spooner Library, and looking at the unique sculpture. The number from left to right is:

1)The number of large "Books" of knowledge __________

2)The number of "Lightening Bolts" __________

3)Add the Number of "Lizards" and "Dragonflies" __________

4)The number of large " Feathers" __________

I will gladly confirm the combination by email if requested. The woods were full with a thick canopy of fall leaves, please report any variation in coords. Please lock the cache up, as good or better than the way you found it. Thanks for your interest!

Snowshoe path goes right by ground zero. Had to stop and check on it today. Everything in working order, lock is workable.

SJ did all the figuring and found after nice little detours. Had CClown and Ice the Wonder Dog along for the search.
Took both geocoins, left scout patch.

Nifty little multi, I liked the sculpture and Badlands and I enjoyed the walk to the final. While we were out there we ran into some surveyors. One of them explained geocaching to the other (they were about 50' away) and when I asked if they were making fun of our hobby the muggle surveyor said, 'No, it just sounds too much like work.' Totally understandable given their profession. We offered to trade GPSr's to make their day more challenging but they declined. It wouldn't have helped us much, most hides you have to worry about the hider's accuracy, not your own. This hide's accuracy was fine, btw. Thanks for the fun!
