This is our first cache and is hidden in memory of our beloved
Geocaching bird, Kahlua. She passed away in January of 2007, and
helped find about 50 geocaches. In honor of Kahlua, this was a
bird/animal themed ammo can. But now it's a green painted
tupperware container with no theme. Feel free to leave animal
things if you'd like.
Cache was hidden in a stump until someone moved it to another
stump where it was muggled. Replaced and moved further down the
trail until the flooding happened. Now it's moved back to 10 feet
from the original location. At the base of a huge group of small
trees.
Cache is visible from many sides, be sure to cover it
thoroughly!
There's a garbage can near the entrance, a great place for some
CITO (cache in trash out).
Note: Turns out there is/was a letterbox hidden a few hundred
feet away. What a great time to get into a new sport! It's LbNA #:
24919. I haven't seen it in a while, so it may be missing.
