This one may be difficult to find due to heavy tree cover. You can approach from West Valley Road using the dirt trail that runs along the south edge of Briggs Lake. You'll pass thru a couple of clearings where reception will improve. There is excellent reception at the cache site.
Edit 4/4/06: based on several log entries it appears my nice new Garmin eTrex is off by 40 feet. I'll look into correcting this and repost the coordinates once I do.
Edit 11/27/09: based on info from ryanharris I have reported 2 trackable items as missing. I note the recent comment regarding the inaccurate coordinates. If someone emails me better numbers I will post them. I do not have a way to correct them myself, given (obviously) that my unit is not accurate.
Edit 7/17/14: the original tree stump at this site is gone, as is the small tupperware that was placed here at first. I don't know if there's still a container at this spot or not, and if there is, it's very small. The whole point of this cache was to show island visitors a hard-to-find scenic spot in an area with nice hiking and biking trails. You can loop all the way around the lake, or take off into the hills around Mt Young. This is a favorite spot for locals to walk and ride.
