Time for a
cleanup! The Wisconsin
Geocaching Association (WGA) is proud to sponsor this CITO
Geocaching event! (What
is CITO?) This regional event will be held September
18th at the Burt Morris Park Pavilion in The City of
Adams. Your event hosts for this CITO are sandlanders and -cheeto-.
Supplies have been donated by the Wisconsin Geocaching
Association.
The CITO will begin at the park pavilion at 8:00am Saturday
morning with coffee, juice, and donuts provided. Bottled water will
also be available for attendees. After cleaning up the park, please
consider joining the WGA at nearby Roche A Cri State Park for the
annual
WGA Geo-Picnic Event (GC29P5H).
At 9:45am, we will take a group picture and draw names for some
event door prizes. Prizes include several unactivated geocoins,
cache containers, and a pre-paid gas card. Must be present to
win!
What to bring:
- Gloves (only if you'd like to have your own, otherwise gloves
will be provided)
- Walking stick or poking apparatus. One with a nail on the end
is nice for trash pickup.
- Safety vest for visibility and safety glasses if you
desire
- Shoes / boots that can get muddy
- A friend who wants to learn about geocaching, having fun,
cleaning up parks, meeting new people, etc.
- A leash if you bring a four-legged friend. All dogs in the
park must be on a leash.
Don't forget to add this cache page to your watchlist to keep
up to date on who's coming and any relevant notes that are
posted.
This event is sponsored by the Wisconsin Geocaching Association.
