World Wide Flash Mob XI – Where tens of thousands of geocachers at hundreds of coordinated events all around the world, gathering at the same time to celebrate the wonder that is Geocaching.
WHAT: World Wide Flash Mob XI Event
WHERE: Hermann Park, Downtown/Museum District Houston
WHEN: Saturday, June 7, 2014, 12:00 pm - 12:15pm
WHY: Why not? Ok, to have fun with your fellow geocachers, trade stores, possibly win a WWFM XI Geocoin, get a WWFM XI pathtag, etc.
WWFM XI Schedule
11:50 -11:59 AM - Arrive and go to the reflecting pool area just south of the statue, but do not go to Ground Zero! Act as if you're a muggle in the area.
12:00 PM - Dash to Ground Zero! Look both ways before crossing the roundabout of course
12:01 pm - Sign the log and enter prize drawing
12:05 pm - Meet fellow cachers, swap some stories, and trade trackables
12:10 pm - Prize drawing - WWFM XI Geocoin
12:13 pm - Gather for group photo on North Side of Sam Houston's Statue
12:15 pm - Dash from the area, again remembering to look both ways before crossing the roundabout
PLEASE make sure to RSVP with a "Will Attend" log - I plan on ordering pathtags and need this info by May 7th to ensure I have enough tags for the event.
