This multi cache takes you to some of the points of interest in the Tanum world heritage area. Den här multicachen tar dig till en del av sevärdigheterna i Tanums världsarv.
Tanum was entered on to the world heritage list due to its rock carvings and the continuity of settlement in the landscape over eight millennia. Vitlycke is one of the larger rock carving sites in the area. Apart from the carvings there is also a museum which is open during the summer months. This multi cache takes you to some of the points of interest in the area. Please don't walk on the rock art panels. Some of the solutions may be found on the signs in the area, be sure to read them. Second stage: N 58º 42,1XX where XX is the number of rooms in the upper bronze age house minus the number of rooms in the lower bronze age house. E 11º 20,1YY where YY is the number of posts in house with no solid walls multiplied by four, minus six. Third stage: N 58º 41,9XX where XX is the number of cup marks in the long line plus nineteen E 11º 20,1YY where YY is the number of crew lines on the largest ship times two, minus five. Fourth stage: N 58º 41,7XX where XX is the number of tiny footsteps plus six. E 11º 20,3YY where YY is the number of cranes times ten, plus three. Final destination N 58º 41,5XX where XX is the number of cupmarks above the hand of the man multiplied by three. E 11º 20,4YY where YY is half the number of wheels of the type of wagon, which can be seen high up on the panel.
