There are lots of ways to get to this cache. The easiest is from the parking lot near the trailhead to Sam Knob; just follow your arrow along the rocky "road" which is the Ivestor Gap Trail.
The cache will be found 5-10 yards uphill from the road. The log is made of waterproof paper so should survive. Please make sure that the container is placed back in such a way as to be less visible from the trail. Enjoy!
