Stinky Beach (named appropriately) is located just South of Eureka
City Limits, from Highway 101 - Take Exit 702. Fairly easy flat
walk along gravel and sandy terrain. Great place to walk dogs,
fish, and find shells.
Parking is available at the City of Eureka Elk River Wildlife Area.
Take the Elk River exit from HW101 (EXIT 702)and head WEST PAST the
Park & Ride area N 40* 45.552' x W 124* 11.562. The Cache is
located South West about 1/2 mile from the parking lot. Head west
until you reach the old railroad tracks. Follow them south across
the bridge. The cache is a clear plastic jar with blue lid.
GeoCaching.com is writen on top. Round trip is just about 1 mile.
Allow about 30 minutes to walk, find and return to parking lot. The
Beach is a hidden beauty!
