Easy to get to, just watch your step on old walls and steps.
Jackson Springs is an unincorporated village located in Moore county, N.C. about 13 mi WNW of Southern Pines, NC. At one time it was a very busy place. People used to stay here to enjoy the "healing" waters of the springs. There were several springs in the area. Ellerbe springs is located just up the road. Cache is near the spring. Great place to bring a picnic and enjoy the stream that flows by the picnic tables. The spring is just off Hotel Street, but don't plan on staying overnight! Cache is 35 mm canister,log only,so bring your own pencil or pen.
