Colorful Daegu 2009 Event Cache

• You and your family are invited to the 2nd Annual Colorful Daegu Event for a gathering of geocachers. 

WHEN:

• 15 November 2009, Sunday, 14:00 PM till ??? 

1. 14:00 - PM The Conference Hall doors will open. Snacks and soft drinks.
2. 14:30 - Ice Breaker (introductions) and announcements.
3. 15:00 - Contests
4. 16:30 - Conference Hall closes
5. 16:39 - and more

WHY:

• To meet & greet cachers, discover & trade travel bugs and geocoins , trade caching stories, geocoin contests and have plain old event fun! Be sure to find the very nearby Hyperion Lollipop ( GC1FNEP).

GENERAL INFO

1. It is important that you use the "will attend" option and let us know how many guests  you'll be bringing.  This will help greatly on our head-count and help cachers to gain access to the conference hall. 
2. Bring your camera and enjoy the great panoramic views from above.
3. To be sure you stay updated with any changes place this event on your watch list .
4. Out of country/TDY cachers needing more info and directions send email.
5. Cachers driving to the event please let us know and we'll reserve you a spot in the garage.

THE DAY BEFORE

• Lets all have fun at WWFM VI - Pre-Colorful Daegu (An Event cache by Dan_n_Stef) See GC1ZZPK for more info.

• We have been in contact with some cachers that are arriving on 14 November, Saturday to cache Daegu.  The meeting place will be at the Hue Story Cafe located at N 35° 52.030 E - 128° 37.580 at 11:00 till 13:00.  There is free WIFI and use of on site computers.  *Feel free to join us. Also please let us know that you are coming on Saturday.

GEOCOINS AND TRAVEL BUGS

1. The Red , Green , White , and Yellow Jeeps will be making an appearance.
2. Over one hundred geocoins will be available for discovery.
3. So far we know of three vehicle travel bugs that will be parked in the garage for discovery.

CONTESTS

1. Putting for Geocoins at the rooftop putting green.  Bring along your favorite putters or use one of the two available.
2. "Stop The Geocoin Thief" contest.  The coin will be hidden for a Geocacher to find.
3. The "Geocoins Event Note Contest" will take place for MAGC members from around the world by proxy. For those that have entered with an event note. The winner will receive two South Korea Flag Micro Geocoins, one silver and one gold.
