Chuck Walla: Greetings from Geocaching.com!

Since you have not responded to my reviewer log about your cache, the cache has been archived.

Some time ago, I posted a note to your cache page requesting a response from you to post what you were planning to do with the cache on the page and to send me a note. I have no record of a response, and no response tells me that you are not planning on replacing or repairing this cache. If I am wrong with that assumption, please let me know promptly. I can always unarchive the cache for you if needed.

Sincerely,

Geocache Description:

The Second in the TROOPS series, this is one is about the United States Army.

It's another trail blazer. I suggest parking in the Sherwood Sports Complex parking lot and hiking in. This cache is on city property but near Camp Joseph T Robinson (Army Reserves). PLEASE STAY ON CITY PROPERTY.

COMPANION CACHE - THE MARINES
COMPANION CACHE - THE NAVY

The base border is marked with trees having white rings painted around them (it's obvious). The military does not use this section of land, but it's a good idea to stay on the public side.

Facts about the United States Army
DID YOU KNOW...
- They were founded in 1775
- As of 2009, we have over 549,000 Regular Army, 358,000 Army National Guard, and over 205,000 United States Reserve (that's over 1 million!)
- Their motto is "This We'll Defend"
- Since 1899, the Army's mascot has officially been a mule because the animal symbolizes strength and perseverance.
- The 7 Army Core Values are Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Person Courage

Stuff for the kids, especially, my all time favorite, green army men.

In honor of my grandfather, cousin Tom, G. Collora, and C. Wideman, and all the men and women who sacrifice to defend our freedom. God bless you all.
