Troop 229 Cabin Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

OReviewer: As there's been no cache to find for a long time or has had no owner response for at least 30 days, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

The first of what we hope to be many caches, this one placed on land preserved by Don "Mr. D" Dagutis. Thanks for everything, Mr. D!

This cache was created in honor of our many years in Boy Scouting, where we first developed our interest in the outdoors, then orienteering, and now geocaching.

The Cabin was built after World War II, by members of the Montgomery Baptist Church. Colmar Troop #1 was the first to meet there. It is now owned by Hatfield Township. We think it is beautiful inside, with a large stone fireplace and wood balcony.

First to find gets a real compass, and original inventory includes 5 vintage patches, a small football (to remind us of all those games nearby), and several toy compasses in the cache. If you take something, please leave something.

Enjoy!
