This is my first attempt at hiding a cache. I hope to hide several in and around Huntington Beach.
This cache is hidden on land adjacent to the Bolsa Chica Wetlands. There are at least three routes to this cache. The two nicer ones and the ones I recommend start from the parking lots at the wetlands, either off of PCH or Warner. If you do walk through the wetlands, please note that bikes and dogs are not allowed. Also, please stay on the trails no matter what the bearing is on your GPS. All the trails converge and will take you within feet of the cache. Depending on which route you take the walk could be as little as 2/3 mile or as much as 2-1/2 miles round trip. The cache is in a clear container with blue lid. It contains a log, a camera and various odds & ends. Please take some pictures and I'll post them on my web site kk6t.com when it is back up.

5/9/01 - Here's an addition: Try a little "cross-sport" action!! While bouncing around on the net today I came across letterboxing.org. There is a letterbox posted which is very near my cache. It's a little added bonus while you are searching for the cache. I checked it tonight and it is still there. There is a logbook but NO pen.
