[JLX.68] Rintocchi e Memorie Mystery Cache

Dopo la Grande Guerra, nel 1922, si costituì un comitato con lo scopo di edificare un monumento ai caduti e di collocarlo nella principale piazza della città.

Fu indetto un concorso nazionale per scegliere l'artista ed il 4 novembre 1923, fu collocata la prima pietra del nuovo monumento, che venne definitivamente installato nell'estate del 1926.

Fu, però, inaugurato nell'agosto dell'anno successivo, alla presenza del Re Vittorio Emanuele III, il quale accettò l'invito a venire appositamente a Savona.

Da allora, la campana del monumento suona alla stessa ora per richiamare tutti in raccoglimento e ricordare i caduti: pedoni, biciclette, auto e motorini si devono fermare in segno di rispetto, pena la multa. Il rituale, a cui i Savonesi ormai sono abituati, è qualcosa di davvero unico, commovente ed emozionante.

Proprio per questa sua singolarità, il monumento viene chiamato "Rintocchi e memorie".

A = ora esatta in cui la campana inizia a suonare (HH formato 24ore) ?
B = numero totale dei rintocchi ?
C = totale numero dei giorni della settimana in cui il monumento suona?

La veridicità dei ritrovamenti è fondamentale per garantire una manutenzione programmata ed efficiente. Al termine di ogni sessione di manutenzione verrà pubblicata foto del registro delle firme. Verranno eliminati tutti i ritrovamenti che non trovino riscontro. Nessuna eccezione.

After World War I, in 1922, a committee was formed with the aim to build a war memorial and place it in the main town square.

It was proclaimed a national competition to choose the artist and 4 November 1923, it was placed the first stone of the new monument, which was finally installed in the summer of 1926.

It was, however, opened in August of the following year, the presence of King Vittorio Emanuele III, who accepted the invitation to come specially to Savona.

Since then, the bell of the monument sounds at the same time to call everyone in meditation and remember the fallen: pedestrians, bicycles, cars and scooters have to stop out of respect, on risk of a fine. The ritual, the people of Savona are by now used to, is something very unique, touching and exciting.

Precisely because of this singularity, the monument is called "Rintocchi & memorie" ( "Chimes and memories").
