Geocache Description:

Coordinates are for Santa's Landing Only .. solve the puzzle to solve the cache.

As local legend has it, Santa used to have more reindeer pulling his sled than we see in the books.

Late one Christmas Eve, Santa was returning from his travels when a blizzard hit the North Pole. Unable to see clearly he bounced off of Moose Creek Bluff and crashed landed at a 4 way intersection. Two paths led into the trees and two paths followed an overhead powerline. Because his GPS was working correctly, he noted the following coordinates (N64 44.007 W 147 13.234) before getting ready to start off again.

Unfortunately one reindeer got loose and took off blindly on one of the 4 paths that he could see. Because of the blizzard, Santa didn't know which one and began to follow the tracks step by step. After about 450 paces he noticed a Tree of 4 and saw the tracks wander off. Carefully following the tracks, he counted another 44 paces before seeing a tree that would always stay green for you and me. Hanging in the tree was a golden bell and closely pressed against the tree was his Lost Reindeer.

Retracing his steps, Santa returned to his sled only to have to wait until the snow had cleared. Looking around before he took off he noted that no tracks did still appear. But to this day a golden bell hangs in the tree where the Lost Reindeer did not freeze.
