We recently returned from a paddling trip to the Buffalo National River in Arkansas. At night along the river, the bluffs twinkled with more lightning bugs than we had ever seen before. We decided to capture some lightning bugs and bring them back to Texas.
As it turns out these are very smart lightning bugs, and we trained them to guide Geocachers to our new cache. The cache is not at the posted coordinates! However, if you show up after dark at the posted coordinates, our trained lightning bugs will show you the way.
This is a seed cache and initially contains 4 night cache seeds that have most everything you'll need to set up another night cache. Once hidden and posted, email us the new cache code. The first four verified night cache owners (in order of posting date) will forever be memorialized here on this cache page. Can you be the first? Good Luck!

Caution:This cache will require walking around in a public park after dark. Depending on the rainfall the terrain may vary, and while most of the trails are quite easy, a little climbing around may be involved. We recommend groups to maximize your saftey and fun.
