The LeBaron: A Park and Grab Series Traditional Geocache

This is a small Park and Garb Series to commemorate some of the vehicles and misfortunes I've had over the years. This series shouldn't require too much effort and the caches should all be winter friendly. (However tweezers and stealth may be required for a few.)

The 1988 Chrysler LeBaron: This sturdy little four door had the misfortune of being driven home by me on one of the hottest days of summer after the first week of football practice--or as it was better known “Hell Week”. I was extremely exhausted and just a few miles from home when I fell asleep behind the wheel. When I awoke moments later I found myself trapped in the ditch and speeding towards Knight’s Creek. The brakes didn’t stop my progress; however, the trees at the edge of the creek did. I was able to walk away from the crash unscathed and dry. Thanks to the design of older vehicles, the only real damage to the car was a cracked windshield. I was lucky that day and it’s an experience I will likely not forget.
