This one has been on our list for a while. We were going to do it last spring but the road was so flooded we decided to wait until now and just bring Freddie with us. With all the rain we had last night the road was still flooded but managable and once you take your first left it was really a nice walk. We came to the trail and started down it but we thought we were going the wrong way so we continued down the road. We then realized that we should of taken the trail after all and we headed back to the trail and had a nice walk all the way to the cache. Made a quick find, signed the log and left a Freddie's Pack card. TFTC #237

Nice day to get out in the woods. Still lots of branches down on the last leg of the journey, down the path to ground zero. We got to practice some bushwacking techniques. A reward was a beautiful red salamander guarding the cache site. (see pic)
BTW, the cache can is soaking wet. There is a hole in the lid. We replaced the ziploc for the log book, but the cache needs maintenance.
TFTC! Melandall

A short hike and an easy find now that the snow is disappearing. There are lots of trees down across the trails out here.

Thank you for the cache, Teslacoil#1 and Son
