Small park located in Franklin County

Cache is located 1/4 mile south of the Old Stone House (corner of
C47 and Raven Ave.). It is open for free tours between Memorial Day
and Labor Day on Sunday's from 2-4 or by appointment
(641-458-8129). It's able to handle group tours and is listed on
the National Register of Historic Places.
Also within the area is the ghost town of Marysville. Located on
95th St. (leaving the cache, go north 1/8 mile then turn left down
Walnut Dr. Follow until a "T" intersection and turn left again. At
95th St., turn right and follow about 1/2 to 3/4 mile.) all that is
left of the town is a one-room school house and a marker from the
first post office/first store site in the county. The school was
built in 1867 and used as a church and a school. The building was
refurbished in 1979-80. It is open by appointment only
(641-458-8129) and is able to hold group tours.
