Sasquatch Stomp - The Stomp Ends Here Mystery Cache

Welcome to the Sasquatch Stomp. The Stomp consists of 9 caches in total. Eight of these caches contain the clues needed to complete the puzzle in the final mystery cache. The final cache, The Stomp Ends Here, consists of a cross-number puzzle similar to our Go Figure cache but this time we have provided some clues that should get you on your way fairly easily. Upon completing the puzzle, the numbers in the green shaded squares contain the coordinates needed to locate the final cache.

Upon retrieving a puzzle card from a cache, be sure to read all the clues carefully before you continue on your journey... it may prevent unnecessary backtracking.

If one chooses to not do the entire Stomp, then simply pick and choose the caches you want to do, all 8 clue caches contain items for trade and a logbook.

The provincial park was originally created in 1959. At first the park was originally called Green Point Park and consisted of a picnic area on the south east shores of Harrison Lake.
In 1968 the park was renamed Sasquatch Provincial park. Also at this time Hicks, Deer and Trout Lakes were added to the park bringing it to a total size of 1217 hectares. Campgrounds were constructed at both Deer and Hicks lakes.
For those unfamiliar with the park, the Sasquatch Stomp will introduce you to the trails within ( and in one case beyond) the park. The majority of these trails are on old logging railbeds from logging operations in the 1930's. The logs from these hills were moved down the rails and dumped into Harrison Lake near the existing Greenpoint boat launch.

These eight caches contain the clue cards needed for solving this puzzle. The coordinates for the final cache are in the green shaded squares.

There are prizes for the first three cachers that finish the entire stomp. Cachers can choose from a $20 gift certificate to a local pub, a Fiskar Multitool, or a unused Travelbug. There is also a surprise bonus prize for the FTF.
