Geocache Description:

Across the river from the old mill site.

The Andersonia mill was located on the south fork of the eel river and indian creek. The mill was the biggest and most modren the lumber industry had seen. The mill never did begin operations and became known as the "the million dollar mill that never milled" In 1950 Tom Dimmick leased the Andersonia mill and operated it untill 1972. More info on the mill can be found in local history books. (Willy's J owns almost all of them). The cache is an ammo can with a first to find prize and other geo fodder.
