How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Here’s a letterbox cache for “ya’all” to enjoy!

With LetterBox caches, you trade imprints from rubber stamps. You’ll need to bring:
  • A SMALL rubber stamp that you have, or like
  • A stamp ink pad
  • A Pen
  • A small diary or other book to add this letterbox “stamp/impression” to your collection
When you find the cache, take out the Log book and mini-stamp that is in the cache. Ink and place your stamp in the log book, along with your name/date. Use the stamp that is in the cache container to ink and impress in your diary . Be sure to replace the original stamp back with the log book and replace in original hiding spot. With these caches, you don’t leave treasures—the stamp trading is the “treasure”. CHECK OUT THESE INCREDIBLE PHOTOS OF "THE GATES"http://marcsilverman.com/
