Hike through Pootatuck State Forest. Little bushwacking but some steep paths. Alt. 1210 ft.
At the end of our journey thru the rough and rocky terrain of what we "Hillbillies" like to call huntin' fer them dang gophers, we left behind some of this and that to make your trip that much more enjoyable...a stuffed dog, sunglasses, Squantz fire patches, a measuring tape, a magic ball, batteries, a bandana, and a watch. Who knows what of this treasure will still be there when you arrive and/or what new knick-knacks you will find, but no matter what the case may be, I am sure that you can impress the gophers with your mystical and captivating toys. Don't have too much fun. They may want to come home with you. Remember what the forrest ranger says, "Don't tease the wild animals." Thanks. Don't get too lost. Have fun.
