Geocache Description:

This cache was adopted by antimony13 on May 7, 2011. The initial cache description has been left intact, with updates only to the requirements required to reach the new final cache, the D/T rating, and the cache container description.

********************************************************************************

Cache is located in one of Miami-Dade's parks.

- The initial coordinates identify a pond or small lake -- the dominant and central feature of this park.
- There is a paved path that facilitates circumambulation of the pond.
- Between the path and the cattails are numerous items above ground put there to help you — to sit, cook food, eat a meal, play, exercise, know the rules, keep you safe, provide shade. Some just seem to pop out of the ground for no obvious reason.
- Of all the things inside the path there is one that is unique, although there are three others elsewhere in the park like it.
- Once you find the unique object within the path area, mark its location and add xxx to the North coordinate and add yyy to the West coordinate (see below for clarification). This will give you the location of the cache.

- Update as of 3/26/14: Thanks to park improvements and updates, the original "unique object" has been removed. Here are new directions to find the cache.

Project a waypoint 296 Feet @ 180 Degrees (Magnetic North) from the posted coordinates. At this location, you will find a sign. There are two 3-digit numbers and two 4-digit numbers in the text of that sign. Locate the two 4-digit numbers. The first 4-digit number (a city ordinance number) is ABCD and the second 4-digit number (part of a phone number) is EFGH.
To determine the north coordinate for the cache, calculate the following: ABCD - 1758 = xxx.
To determine the west coordinate for the cache, calculate the following: EFGH - 5889 = yyy.
Proceed to N 25° 48.xxx W 080° 20.yyy to find the cache.

- Cache is a micro container containing a log only. BYOP.
- Signing the log is a requirement for logging this cache as a find. Finds posted online without a signature on the cache's log are subject to deletion.
