ThirtySeven: Recruited some help, and we looked around pretty much the entire area for any trace at all. There was none to be found; it's completely gone. Without the log books, it's not really possible to carry on the cache's legacy with a new container.
It lasted a good 11 ½ years altogether, so not a bad run.
Thanks to all who visited, and many thanks to Scintillefamily for the original placement that gave us all another new place to explore and enjoy.
