Geocache Description:

A simple micro. Stay in the car park. En enkel mikro. Stanna på parkeringen.

The cache is a micro attached to a post with a sign and reachable from the car park. It is a little distance from the Gävle C as there are so many other caches there! It is some distance to the south of the old South station which was the terminus for the Uppsala-Gävle-Järnväg (UGJ) that was open between 1924 and 1933.

The "Upp train" goes between Gävle and Upplands Väsby and hascreated new life in the small Uppland villages. The "Upp train" stops in Gävle - Furuvik - Skutskär - Älvkarleby - Marma - Mehedeby - Tierp - Tobo - Örbyhus - Skyttorp - Vattholma - Storvreta - Uppsala - Knivsta - Arlanda - Upplands Väsby which can be compared with SJ who only stop in Gävle - Tierp - Uppsala - Knivsta - Arlanda.

Gömman är en mikro som sitter på en skyltad stolpe och nås från parkeringen. Det är lite längre bort från Gävle C pga alla andra cacher där. Det ligger söder om gamla Söder stationen som var slutstationen på Uppsala-Gävle-Järnväg (UGJ) som löpte mellanGävle och Uppsala under åren 1924 och 1933.

Upptåget gär mellan Gävle och Upplands Väsby och har skapat ett nytt liv i de små uppländska ortar.Upptåget stannar i Gävle - Furuvik - Skutskär - Älvkarleby - Marma - Mehedeby - Tierp - Tobo - Örbyhus - Skyttorp - Vattholma - Storvreta - Uppsala - Knivsta - Arlanda - Upplands Väsby att jämföra med SJ som bara stannar i Gävle - Tierp - Uppsala - Knivsta - Arlanda
