Road to Nowhere TB Motel Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Run&Hike: Our "Road to Nowhere TB Motel," hidden seven years ago, is nowhere to be found.
We're sadly convinced that it is the location that has been compromised so we're not replacing it.
Thanks not only to those that "found it," but also to all those who "wrote a note" for TB drops and pickups.
If you want to drop some TB's our (GC342YH) "Maryland Welcomes You Again!", south of Pocomoke at the Virginia Line, is large enough for them.

Geocache Description:

This TB Motel is on a "Short" dead-end "Lane" accessible to both Northbound and Southbound cachers. The cache location and adjacent parking are expicitly approved by the Maryland DNR and are on Public Land. The Maryland State Police at Barrack X are aware of the cache. If you are questioned while at this cache, they may call DNR at (410) 632-3732 for confirmation.

DO NOT PARK ON THE HIGHWAY! You can park out of sight of the highway within feet of the cache.

The container is a camouflaged ammo box.

This is a Travel Bug Motel, not a "treasure hunt", so the challenge was to place it where YOU can find it quickly but it won't be easily spotted by muggles. Hopefully, we've done that, but if you don't see it, the hint is specific. The coords may vary as foliage changes seasonally but will get you very close.

You are welcome to log in without taking or leaving anything. Please leave only TB's, Geocoins, or other trackables. We've seen TB Motels fill up with swag, and we've seen Travel Bugs confused with "toys" and taken to collect or play with, so we'd prefer that you don't leave swag.

Our cache inventory frequently shows Trackables which are no longer there, and the cache often contains Trackables that aren't listed as being there. The TB/Coin owners wonder where they are, so please help them (and us)! If you take a TB or Geocoin always make it a practice to write the tag number in a safe place. Then if you decide to drop it in another cache before you can log your find, you'll be able to log it out of inventory of the cache where you found it. When you log your find, please remember to also click on that "trackable" in the cache inventory and log that you "Retrieved" it so it will be in your inventory. If it wasn't in the inventory of the cache where you found it, you'll be able to "Grab from..." the most recent "Retriever" and then log it into the cache where you dropped it. If you leave a TB or Geocoin, please briefly write in the log its name, ,description, and goal. When you log the cache on Geocaching.com be sure to select "Dropped Off" for each TB or Coin you left BEFORE you click "Submit Log".
