Warning

Please note: To use the services of geocaching.com, you must agree to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

This can be a short walk or plan a day to relax near a county youth camp and hike the trails. There are two ways to approach this cache. You can park near the orange gate and walk approx .6 of a mile or drive a little further and walk just a few hundred feet. This may depend on the time of the year. In the summer this area is highly used, in the winter deep snow may prevent you from using the longer hiking tail. This trail will eventually take you to the Namekogan River, enjoy the hike. The cache is a medium sized, camo'd plastic container. It is full of trinkets, log book and pencil. The contents are sealed within a large ziploc bag. The overall difficulty will be higher in the winter. NOTICE*** This is county owned land and is a very popular place to deer hunt during the 9 day rifle season. I do not advise you to look for this cache during that season!

Found It! It was a tough one - good hide. We took the travel bug cow to take him down south. TFTC. Beautiful spot.

I enjoyed the drive up here. I also got coordinates 40-60 feet away (further in from the parking lot). I left a large travel bug which I picked up about a month ago at Wisconsin's first Mega-geocaching event. The TB nearly fills up the entire container. TFTC!

Thanks to CycloneJH for the message on the damage to this cache. We made the drive out to take a look and sure enough, looks like something made a chew toy out of my container. We replaced it and moved it back to it's original hiding place. Coord's are very close and shouldn't be a problem to find. This cache could use a few more trinkets, so bring plenty. All contents are placed inside a Ziploc bag, please replace it the same way. Thanks for your interest in our caches.

We found this one while we are on vacation but it looks like it had been played with and chewed on quite a bit. Most things inside were broken but the log book was intact. The lid wouldn't close tight. Not sure if it was in the right location since our GPS jumps around alot when we get into the woods. We were showing about 40 ft off but again not sure. Nice cache location.
