A cache located in a small park near the Evergreen Sikh Temple.
The cache is near the upper end of a linear park just below the Sikh Temple in the Evergreen area of San Jose. After visiting the cache you could walk downhill through the well-maintained park which runs several blocks to a very small lake just above the Evergreen Valley High School. If you're interested in unusual architecture, instead you could turn uphill, and visit the Sikh Temple. The Temple opened in 2004 on 40 acres of land. What you see here is only Phase 1; a 70,000 square foot expansion is in the planning stages now.
The cache is a decon container with room for only very small trading items. Please bring your own pencil. Since this cache has proven difficult to find, I've enlarged the hint, so it's now mostly a spoiler.
