Geocache Description:

One in a series of nearly 4 dozen geocaches placed along a 160-mile length of the Bear River between Niter (Idaho) and the Bear River Bird Refuge (Utah) in the summers of 2013 and 2014.  Geocache names refer to the distance in river miles from the Cove Powerhouse southwest of Niter where we began our long canoe journey.  It was our intent that caches in this series could only be accessed by floating the river, thereby encouraging others to explore and enjoy the "Bear" for themselves.

This cache is located on the east bank of the Bear River about 6.2 river miles below the Corinne bridge.   The cache container is a yellow plastic capsule hanging about 6 feet above the ground in a lone Russian olive tree surrounded by saltcedars.  BYOP.
