The cache is NOT located on the sculpture.
Near the posted coordinates is a unique piece of artwork entitled "Strata" (1989) by Bruce Johnson. It is a redwood and copper sculpture that was a city gift to the residents in celebration of Walnut Creek's 75th birthday. The City allocated $25,000 to buy the piece but the artist only charged $21,000.
This custom cache is NOT located on the sculpture. The cache is a log only. Bring a pen. No room for items. Please put the cache back exactly as you found it to maintain the difficulty of the hide and to allow others to retrieve it easily.
While you're here, you might as well get some exercise and grab the other caches in the park.
The park is closed from sunset to sunrise. Note the attributes for clues to where the cache is hidden.
