Geocache Description:

This cache is a Multi that follows the 1825 Santa Fe Trail Survey Team as they cross Ford County, Kansas.

They've added a second sign to some locations. You are only looking at the brass plaques set in a limestone fence post.
Not the new signs built into a wooden frame around the limestone.

This multi cache will take about an hour, if done without making other stops. I have mileage as 31.6 from start (18.8 miles E,SE of Dodge City) to finish (8.8 miles W,NW of Dodge City), with parts of it being dirt roads. The cache can be done with easy walks to the markers.
All parts but the final cache site could even be done without getting out of your vehicle if you have binoculars.
