Geocache Description:

You are looking for a cammo painted water bottle.

This cache is not for everybody. It is a steep strenuous hike. Take water with you.
I parked at the intersection of Gustaf and 6th Ave in Gold Hill.
Don't park too close to the hydrant. Just north of here you will have the choice of trail or road. The road is gated by the City of Gold Hill. I contacted City Hall as the sign suggested. Their concern was with vehicular traffic hence the locked gate. The cache is at the northern end of this road. You will be treated with a workout and scenic views of the Rogue Valley. In a saddle just before reaching the cache site off the west side of the road you will see the remnants of a Gold Mine. I saw several deer and a grouse on my hike.
Two other routes are suggested in my narrative for the companion cache, Not There Yet.
There is a geocoin in the cache for the First To Find.
