Geocache Description:

THIS AREA OPEN FROM SUNRISE TO SUNSET.


This journey takes you to Day Pond State Park and Salmon River State Forest near Colchester. The terrain is flat to step hills. There is no need to bushwhack; there are well-marked trails for the entire hike. You will need to find information along the way to get to the next waypoint; there are NO NASTY MICROS. The answers are provided in the hints if you have trouble finding the information. The hike is approximately five miles. Parking is just off 16. A helpful trail map is at DPSP.

Waypoint 1: Count the # of marks on the carved/moss covered tree at the above coordinates. This equals A.
Waypoint 2: N41 33.(A+1)76 W72 25.(9-A)41 B = # of letters in color at post’s top.
Waypoint 3: N41 33.(B+3)13 W72 25.(B+1)46 C = # of marks on tree by rock pile.
Waypoint4: N41 33.C36 W72 25.(C-4)77 D = # of chimneys.
Final: N41 33.(D+1)09 W072 25.(D+2)88
