Bend's Small Parks Series #8 - Kiwanis II
Shotgun & Peashooter's Bend Small Park Series, a series of
caches located in and around the city of Bend in small urban
"pocket" parks. These parks are small and off the beaten path. Most
are only known by the local residents living around each of these
development areas. Please bring a writing utensil as the cache
container only contains a log sheet and very small trade items.
PLEASE stay on the park side of the fence, no need to enter the
area by the railroad tracks or private property!
This is a replacement cache for the original Kiwanis cache. The
location and container are all new, so it is open for everyone to
find!
Kiwanis Park is a popular neighborhood park that hosts many youth
and adult softball games during the spring and summer. The park
features open turf, a play area, picnic area, a half court
basketball court and a small baseball/softball field. The park has
a good view of Pilot Butte making it a popular neighborhood spot to
watch the July 4th fireworks.
