Geocache Description:

A new park that features two important places in Nevada history.

I found this roundabout while making deliveries and saw two plaques in it. So, while b0neZ and I were maintaining my caches, we pulled over for a stop.

The park marks the site of an archaeological find back in 1996 of a prehistoric Washo winter village and also commemorates the First Air-Flight in Nevada which took place in the former field to the north (currently the golf course). This second marker, in a way, replaces the SHM that the golf course construction crew did a number on.

Seeing as this park is new and nice and how this is also a historic site - I do not want to see *any* damage caused by cachers - so here's a BIG HINT!

Look on top of the rock wall, it's not tucked into the wall, but set right on the top.

Please also do not walk into the dirt center of the park - there's no reason to leave any trace of a geotrail here.
