This cache is located in the woods just to the side of Elliot Field. The trailhead can be found to the right of the paved walkway which leads up to the athletic complex from the parking area at the Wallace Civic Center. Despite the fact that this cache is very close to Marshall Farm, it is not accessible from that side. The walk to the cache is relatively flat.
As I recently became a student of Fitchburg State College, I thought that I should place a new cache in my new home away from home. After examining many nearby places, I chose this as the spot for my first cache in the area. Elliot Field, the Wallace Civic Center and Collidge Park together serve as the home of FSC Falcons' Soccer, Football, Field Hockey, Track & Field, Baseball, Women's Lacrosse, Ice Hockey, and Softball, so I thought this was a fitting spot for a cache dedicated to Fitchburg's Falcons. Tickets are needed to enter the area for football games on Saturday nights, but any other time should be fine

Was thrown by the clue at first. Found it easy once I decided to listen to the GPS. Left a TB.

Fun to have a cache just by FSC.

This was a nice quick grab for us and was one of the last ones of the day, 14 total! PrincessBugFinder and I chanted "Geocache" as we followed the trail and then suddenly we heard horses! This was a cool place, PrincessBugFinder was so excited she could barely see horses but she could hear them! GeoCrashThatch discovered this one! Took Chipper the travel bug.

Our 13th of 14 today. A nice walk through the woods. A medium sized stream posed a small threat to our dryness but we took the correct route across. PrincessBugfinder was excited to see some horses close to GZ. Took a Chipper the Chipmunk TravelBug to help him on his way. TFTC...next!!!

After watching my grandaughter skating at the Wallace Center, I just had to go get this cache. It seems the Falcons were preparing for a football game as I made my way to the cache. However, I saw no falcons, but did see a herd of horses grazing just above GZ. Left the Chipper.. TB TFTC!!
