Geocache Description:

Cache is located in Holland Ponds Park. This is a beautiful park and is a reclaimed superfund site. I discovered this park through caching and wish to share it with everyone, dont forget to print out cords for the other caches in the park. Park is rustic, paths are all dirt and there is a privy (no toilet paper) but little else. All through the year there is an abundance of wildlife, including turtles, Heron, and deer.

Cache is an ammo box located in a hopefully harder to muggle place. Please replace as found. Be advised that there are alot of fallen trees to step over and can be muddy after rain, the fallen trees are the reason for the terrain rating, there may be pricker bush's and poison ivy around the cache area. Check here to bone up on your poison plant identification (visit link) Some cachers may want to bring gloves to do this cache. Hike from parking lot to cache is a little over one half mile each way. Some park history can be found here: (visit link)
and here (visit link)

Seekers must answer these three questions in order to get to the cache. All answers can be found on signs located in the park, though not necessarily on the way to the cache.

1. How many pictures of animals are on the Water-fowl pond sign? Add 13.

2. On the Red and White warning signs near the Heron viewing area, how many turtles are listed? Multiply by eleven.

3. On the Lily Pad Pond sign how many ANIMALS (not plants) are listed(not pictured)? Add one.

Use these number answers to access cache.
