This is the 1st in a series intended to introduce you to the many Urban Trails we have here in Colorado Springs.
This trail looks more like a wide sidewalk than a trail but it serves the purpose for a large number of commuters to UCCS. It is 2.1 miles one way, paved. Heading west you have an excellent view of the mountains. The trail is adjacent to Austin Bluffs Parkway and connects to the Templeton Gap Trail at Union Boulevard.
Access the trail from Nevada Avenue and Austin Bluffs Parkway, UCCS or Austin Bluffs Parkway and Union Boulevard (where there is currently some construction going on).
