THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE LISTED COORDINATES!
To find the cache, you will need to solve a mystery based on photographs taken in Salt Lake City's Harvard/Yale neighborhood.
The listed coordinates are a good place to start. Your goal will be to locate the site each photo was taken from. When you find a site, try to stand in approximately the position the photo was taken. Using your GPS receiver, record the required digit for each photo as indicated below:
W 111 50.X52 A = X + 1 ___
W 111 50.X40 B = X - 4 ___
N 40 44.X82 C = X - 8 ___
W 111 50.X51 D = X ___
N 40 44.X62 E = X - 7 ___
N 40 44.X65 F = X ___
The photos are in no particular order. All of them were taken within the following area:
On or north of 1300 South
On or south of 900 South
On or east of 1500 East
On or west of Foothill Drive
When you find a site, don't worry too much if the last digit or two of your GPS reading doesn't quite agree with those listed.
Once you have located each site and noted the required numbers, build the coordinates for the final cache using the letters indicated as follows:
N 40 44.ABC
W 111 50.DEF
To check the accuracy of your findings, apply a "checksum" test: A + B + C + D + E + F = 19
The cache is a green waterproof match container located 2 blocks from the listed coordinates. It is a log-only cache; however, if you email me the code word listed on the log and send a mailing address, I would be glad to send you a prize for completing this puzzle.
The puzzle will likely be much easier for those familiar with the neighborhood. If you need some help, I have included the street each photo was taken from in the additional hints. If you get stuck, send me an email and I will be glad to assist.

Have fun!
