Geocache Description:

We believe that this cache is one of the oldest in Scotland now, enjoy but be very careful on the ascent and descent, the area has changed since it was first placed with significant logging operations. Also it is in area known for ticks so keep skin covered up and check! Thanks for all of you who have enjoyed the Cache and I hope that you continue to do so. Gordon

The Cache is hidden a few hundred feet climb to the north side of Glen Etive near the end of loch Etive. A fairly steep ascent.

The Cache relates to the 70 Wild Miles Glencoe Charity event (www.70wildmiles.org) and is unique little seen or heard material.Take the road to Glencoe turning off a mile to the north of the White Corries Ski centre down the single track road signposted 'Glen Etive'.Follow the Glen Etive road for nearly thirteen miles until you reach the top of loch Etive. The area is really beautiful and if the weather is kind you will see really fantastic views. Take care with both your ascent and descent as the tearrain is quite rugged. Enjoy anything that you take from the cache, then please place it in some other cache so that others can also benefit.
