Clowning Around (Letterbox) Multi-cache

This cache has been archived.

Team J: Cache is archived due to construction at the cache site. The stamp that made it a letterbox hybrid is also missing.

I'm happy that this cache has lasted as long as it has, but it seems its time is complete.

Thank you Furnas Hooligans for maintaining the cache after I left Arizona. I really appreciated being able to continue seeing people find my cache.

Thank you Team Scrawlinn for rescuing the remains. It's amazing it wasn't already grabbed by someone working on the construction there. It's a shame the stamp has gone missing, but I can't wait to see all of the logs that have accumulated.

Since I'm no longer in AZ, I won't be able to replace the cache, and I think it's best that I go ahead and archive it so someone else can place another cache in that area (though probably not in the same place, at least until after the construction is complete).

Thanks to everone who took the time to find this cache. I've enjoyed reading the logs and remembering Sierra Vista through them. Happy caching!

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

Two part, off-set cache. Information at Part 1 will lead to a letterbox
at Part 2. Paved all but last 6 feet or so where it is sand/gravel.
Part 2 is .34 miles from Part 1.

Beginning 29 OCT 04, Furnas Hooligans will be taking care of this cache for me because I am moving to Georgia! Thank you so much for your help Hooligans! Keep the muggles at bay!

The posted coordinates will take you to Part 1.
THERE IS NO PHYSICAL CACHE THERE!
Look for the name of the cafe there.
Take that name and put it in the following blanks:
N 31 3_._ _ _ W 110 1_._ _ _

*example: If it were McDonald cafe, you would write:
N 31 3M.CDO W 110 1N.ALD.

Then replace the letters you just wrote
with numbers from the following key:

A4 - B8 - C7 - D9 - E6 - F3 - G9
H0 - I3 - J8 - K1 - L3 - M8 - N6
O0 - P9 - Q5 - R8 - S7 - T3 - U1
V4 - W6 - X8 - Y5 - Z7

*example: McDonald would become:
N 31 38.790 W 110 16.439 (NOT THE SOLUTION!!!)

Part 1 is one of my favorite places to have breakfast.
You might like to stop in yourself. Caching makes you hungry!

There is a stamp and a pad in the final cache at Part 2
for you to stamp your letterboxing book with.
If you have a stamp, please stamp my book as well.
If not, that's ok. Feel free to log your Geocaching find.
You can bring a 3 x 5 index card or something like it to
take a copy of my stamp with you if you don't have a
letterboxing book.

If you find yourself parking along a busy road
to get the cache you're in the wrong spot.
Try coming from the other way where there is parking
and there is a paved trail all the way to the cache.

I prefer no trade items be left, but SMALL ones will be ok.
There is not much room left in the box.
Now about that breakfast . . .
