Captain Chaoss: the cache was reported with a wet log, so I came to do a maintenance visit. I scanned the log, and realized how many visitors have been here, and how long the cache itself has been here.

I've decided the area would be better served by a new cache, so it can be re-visited by previous cachers, and the coin cache needs a new locale so it can be visited again as well.

Therefore, the Chaoss Coin Cache is archived. Thank you to all who have visited. Watch for its successor, " To Coin a Phrase ".

Geocache Description:

Cache is a clear plastic spice bottle located in Roche park at the end of Patricia drive, off route 19 in Vernon township. Bottle lies at side of packed gravel trail in bottom of shallow ravine. Short walk, but small children will probably tire on uphill return.

Roche park has picnic pavilions, baseball diamonds, a basketball and volleyball court, paved exercise trail, and a playground. Pets are welcome, under control.

Trail is actually a maintenance road, closed to public motor traffic. A small stream runs along bottom section, while hardwood and Hemlock trees line the hills. If its too hot elsewhere, this is a refreshing retreat.

This is a themed cache; please trade coins, tokens, chips, etc. DOES NOT have to be rare or valuable. Try for uncommon or unusual, a bahama penny or russian ruble. One of the original items is an old amusement park token.
